工作职责：
• 50人一组的课堂口语辅导(英语)。
• 准备辅导相关练习及其他教学材料。
• 协助课程老师共同教学材料的准备并获得其批准。
• 准备练习的答案并发布给学生。
• 根据老师的要求准备教学材料。
• 根据老师的要求为学生准备家庭作业。
• 根据老师的要求检查学生的作业。
• 安排时间与学生会面并回答他们的问题。
• 按要求协助课程老师编写试卷。
• 按要求批阅考试试卷并协助发布成绩。
• 处理与课程相关的日常管理工作。
• 维护课程网站页面。该页面用于学生与导师之间的交流及课程资料的发布。
任职要求：
• 学历要求：化学博士或硕士学位，或正在完成博士论文。
能力要求:
• 语言能力：英语听说读写流利
• 对相关课程的材料有深厚的知识储备和深刻的理解。
• 良好的沟通和教育能力。
• 能够阅读科学文献，完成实验室的相关程序。
• 具备解决化学实验室技术问题的能力。

Job Post – Teaching Assistant (Chemistry Program)

Position Description:
Teaching assistants are needed for the following courses: Principles of Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry 1, Analytical Chemistry 2, Physical Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The position is in GTIIT for a period of at least one semester.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oral tutoring in class, for groups of ca 50 students (in English).
• Preparation of exercises and other teaching materials for the tutoring.
• Coordinating the teaching materials with the course teacher and obtaining his/her approval.
• Writing solutions to the exercises and distributing them to the students.
• Preparation of teaching materials, as requested by the course teacher.
• Composing homework exercises for the students (upon teacher’s request).
• Checking students’ homework (upon teacher’s request).
• Setting time for meetings with students and answering their questions.
• Assisting the course teacher in composing the exams (upon request).
• Checking the exams and assisting in providing grades (upon request).
• Taking care of routine administrative tasks related to the course.
• Maintaining the course website page. The page is used for student-tutor communication and publishing of course materials.
Required Job Specifications:
• Required qualification / academic degree: Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in chemistry, or currently working on their Ph.D. thesis.
Required Job Competencies:
• Language ability: Fluent English- speaking, reading and writing.
• Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of the material in the relevant courses.
• Good communication and educational skills.
• Ability of reading scientific documents and adopting lab. procedures.
• Ability of solving technical problems in chemical labs.
