职位描述：
现有以下实验室需要招聘助教:分析化学实验室1，分析化学实验室2，物理化学实验室和有机化学1实验室。
工作职责：
• 开学前:(a)学习实验室安全措施和规章制度;(b)完成所有实验并向实验老师提交报告。
• 在每次实验之前，为学生准备一个小测并检查(允许学生做实验)。
• 在实验中向学生们提供普遍的指导和解释。
• 督导一组约8名学生的实验工作。
• 在实验期间协助学生使用实验程序和仪器。
• 负责实验室的安全问题，尤其是学生群体的安全问题。
• 通过提问来评估学生的知识水平和准备情况。
• 撰写一份关于学生表现的报告(用于评定期末成绩)。
• 在所有的实验时间都要在场。
• 检查学生的初步和最终实验报告，标记错误，撰写评价并打分。
• 负责学生在整个学期中的成绩(测验、知识、准备、实验表现、报告等)，并在学期结束时提供详细的评估。
• 维护课程网站页面。该页面用于学生与教师之间的交流，发布课程材料和成绩。
• 不定期需求:(a)为学生编写仪器和程序的操作手册(b)协助设计和执行新的实验室实验。(c)负责维护和保持实验室设施的运行，为学生们做好准备。(d)负责与实验室有关的日常管理工作。
• 在空闲时间(如有):参与由教师开展的研究项目。
任职要求：
• 学历要求：化学博士或硕士学位，或正在完成博士论文。
能力要求:
• 语言能力：英语听说读写流利
• 对相关课程的材料有深厚的知识储备和深刻的理解。
• 良好的沟通和教育能力。
• 能够阅读科学文献，完成实验室的相关程序。
• 具备解决化学实验室技术问题的能力。

Position Description:
Lab. instructors are needed for the following labs: Analytical Chemistry Lab 1, Analytical Chemistry Lab 2, Physical Chemistry Lab, and Organic Chemistry 1 Lab.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Before starting the semester: (a) Learning lab safety means and regulations, (b) Doing all experiments and submitting reports to the lab teacher.
• Before each lab, preparing a short quiz for the students and checking it (for permitting students to do the lab).
• Delivering general instructions and explanations to a group of students, on the lab session.
• Supervising the lab work of a group of ca 8 students.
• Assisting students with the lab procedures and instruments during the lab session.
• Taking care of safety issues in the lab, in general, and in a student group, in particular.
• Asking questions for evaluating the knowledge and readiness of the students.
• Writing a report on students’ performance (used for the final grade).
• Being present in the lab during all session time.
• Checking students preliminary and final lab reports, marking mistakes, writing comments and grading them.
• Managing students grades during the semester (quizzes, knowledge, readiness, lab performance, reports, etc.) and delivering detailed evaluations at the end of the semester.
• Maintaining the course website page. The page is used for student-instructor communication and publishing of course materials and grades.
• Upon occasional request: (a) Writing operation manuals of the instruments and procedures for the students (b) assisting in design and performance of new lab experiments. (c) taking care of maintenance and keeping the lab facilities operational and ready for the students. (d) taking care of routine administrative tasks related to the lab.
• During free time (if available): participating in research projects carried out by faculty members.
Required Job Specifications:
• Required qualification / academic degree: Ph.D. or M.Sc. degree in chemistry, or currently working on their Ph.D. thesis.
Required Job Competencies:
• Language ability: Fluent English- speaking, reading and writing.
• Excellent knowledge and deep understanding of the material in the relevant courses.
• Good communication and educational skills.
• Ability of reading scientific documents and adopting lab. procedures.
• Ability of solving technical problems in chemical labs.
