2019 IEEE 4th International Conference on Signal and Image Processing (ICSIP 2019)  is hosted by Southeast University in Wuxi, China. It will be held in Wuxi, China on July 19-21, 2019. ICSIP was held successfully in North China of Technology, Beijing, China in 2016, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2017, and Shenzhen, China (hosted by Shenzhen Research Institute, Southeast University, China) in 2018.

ICSIP attracted more than 150 conference participants in the last three years. The aim of ICSIP 2019 will bring together the researchers, experts, and scholars from Asian Pacific nations, North America, Europe and around the world to exchange their research results and address open issues in signal and image processing. It is one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of signal and image processing.

  • ICSIP 2018 Speakers Fellow of IEEE and IAPR, Prof. David Zhang, Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), China

    David Zhang graduated in Computer Science from Peking University. He received his MSc in 1982 and his PhD in 1985 in Computer Science from the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), respectively. From 1986 to 1988 he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University and then an Associate Professor at the Academia Sinica, Beijing. In 1994 he received his second PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He is a Chair Professor since 2005 at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University where he is the Founding Director of the Biometrics Research Centre (UGC/CRC) supported by the Hong Kong SAR Government in 1998.  (Read More)

    Prof. Kot has been with the Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore since 1991. He headed the Division of Information Engineering at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) for eight years. The Division??s focuses are on signal processing for image, video, speech and audio. He was the Vice Dean Research and Associate Chair (Research) for the School of EEE for three years, overseeing the research activities for the School with over 200 faculty members. He is currently Professor and the Associate Dean (Graduate Studies) for the College of Engineering (COE) and Director of ROSE Lab [Rapid(Rich) Object SEearch Lab) with Peking University, Tencent and Inspur]. He has published extensively with over 200 technical papers in the areas of signal processing for communication, biometrics recognition, data-hiding, authentication and image forensics for digital media.     Zhou Wang is a University Research Chair and Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Canada. His research interests include image and video processing and coding; visual quality assessment and optimization; computational vision and pattern analysis; multimedia communications; and biomedical signal processing.     Tieling Chen graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Canada with a Ph.D. in mathematics (2001) and a M.S. in computer science (2002). He joined the University of South Carolina Aiken, USA in 2002 and now he is a professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences. His research interests include the applications of mathematical transformations to image processing and computer graphics. (Read More)

    Prof. Jimmy Liu, Chinese Academic of Science, China&Singapore National Eye Research Institute, Singapore

    Prof. Jimmy Liu Jiang joined Chinese Academy of Sciences in March 2016 through the China ??Thousand Talent Program??. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology of China with a computer engineering bachelor degree, and obtained his Master and Ph.D degrees from the National University of Singapore majoring in Computer Science. Jimmy is currently holding the position of an Honorary Professor in Dundee University and is an adjunct principle research scientist in the Singapore National Eye Research Institute. Jimmy has served many years in IEEE EMBS (Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society) society, and was the 2014 chairman of the IEEE EMBS society of Singapore. (Read More)
